7th July 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 15-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 1 foot surf Air Temperature: 17ºC Sea Temperature: 17ºC Weather: Mainly Sunny Max Speed: 22.0 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 20.1 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) I was feeling a little ill with some sort of cold bug, but headed off to the beach with my 6.7m and 5.7m sails. I plumped for the bigger kit when I got there and the first few runs were just nicely powered, until I headed out to the Dovey Bar bouy and the wind eased leaving me with only just enough to get back... Chris then came to the beach as did Anna and Morgan and the wind eased even more, so I was just about to pack up when it suddenly started fillingin, and then just like yesterday filled in gradually for a couple of hours so I ended up having a maxed out session on my 6.7m in 20-25 knot winds. Should have been on my 5.7m really. Some nice agressive wave riding now and then too. All in all a good session with just me Chris and larry out. |
